SOLD OUT ITEMS
If an item you have ordered is out of stock, you will have the option of exchanging it for a similar item (where applicable) or simply have it refunded. No additional postage charges apply. We attempt to locate your item from a store, within reason and if its available.
RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES - AUSTRALIA
If you have changed your mind about your full priced purchase, M.J.Bale will be pleased to offer you a refund or exchange provided that:
- The item is in original condition and is unwashed, unworn, unused and has not been altered or personalised
- Presentation of the original invoice or receipt within 30 days of purchase
Refunds or exchanges of online purchases may be made in person at a M.J.Bale store (with exceptions) or by post (See online returns below).
Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the card used to make the original purchase.
Please note the following exceptions:
- PayPal orders can only be refunded against a credit card in-store.
- Afterpay orders must be returned to head office for processing refunds on full priced items.
As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items purchased from M.J. Bale at any of our stores including product purchased at a M.J.Bale outlet store. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if the item has a major failure, you may seek a refund or exchange.
Sale Items & Multi-buy Offers
All discounted product including items bought with promotion codes online or part of a promotion in-store/online, sale items and multi-buy offers are non-refundable for change of mind, unless received damaged, faulty or sent incorrectly. We are pleased to offer exchanges for all items on promotion, sale or purchased as a multi-buy offer to the value of items returned/exchanged within a 14 day period from purchase. This policy also applies to Click & Collect and Afterpay orders. At this time, our website does not provide online store credit. You can obtain a store credit note (to only be redeemed within store) if exchanging/refunding at any of our Premium/Outlet stores. Head office refunds/exchanges can take up to 7 business days for processing. The first exchange shipping cost is complimentary, however any additional exchanges made after the first one, will incur a shipping cost of $12.50 (domestic) or $30 (international).
Please choose carefully as we do not offer exchange or refund on the following items unless the item is faulty or where otherwise required by law:

- Made-to-measure and altered garments
- Personalised products
- Any items purchased from our Warehouse/Laneway Sale events

For M.J.Bale online purchases where we have been notified by email within 7 days of receipt of the goods, that are not worn, used or damaged, we will be delighted to offer a full refund* (excluding delivery fees) or exchange, provided all tags remain attached to the garment. *All sale and multibuy items are non-refundable, unless received damaged or sent incorrectly. Suit multibuys are exempted, and are eligible for a full refund, with valid reason. All full-priced, sale and multibuy items are eligible for exchanges. HOW TO RETURN
Please return your goods via international air post or your preferred courier service, with the Return Form included with your order. Please note that all international return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Shipping for your exchange will be at our standard international shipping rates.
